Cal State Los Angeles was foundedin 1947 and is home to the several award-winning engineering programs and anundergraduate population of over 18,000 students. Accredited since 1954 by theWestern Association of Schools and Colleges, CSULA offers bachelor's, master'sand doctoral degree programs from eight colleges, including the College of Artsand Letters, College of Business and Economics, The Charter College ofEducation, College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, College ofHealth and Human Services, College of Natural and Social Sciences, College ofExtended Studies and International Programs and an Honors College. CSULAcompetes in the NCAA Division II and the campus features a sports complex namedafter Billie Jean King.
